This Privacy Policy explains how Ripple Video LLC ("Ripple Video," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Betcha Game mobile application for iOS (the "App"), the getbetcha.com website, and related services (together, the "Services").

The short version: we collect only what the game needs, we use AI to run the game, we don't show ads, we don't sell your data, and we don't let anyone track you. When you delete your account, we anonymize it.

Before storage, we strip EXIF metadata, including location data, from every photo submitted through the App. Evidence photos are visible only to the members of the group where they were submitted.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising. We share information only with the service providers we need to run the Services:

Beyond these processors, we may disclose information if required by law (for example, in response to a valid legal request), to enforce our Terms of Use, to protect the safety of our users, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case this Privacy Policy will continue to apply to your information until you are notified otherwise.

6. No Ads, No Sale of Data, No Third-Party Tracking

To state it plainly: the Services contain no advertising, we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, and nothing we embed follows you across other apps or sites. Our product analytics (PostHog) measure only your use of Betcha itself, as our processor. Because we do not track you across sites, there is no Do-Not-Track behavior to configure.

Betcha is built around private groups. Your bets, messages, and evidence photos are visible to the members of the group where you shared them — not to the public. Keep in mind that group members can see what you share and, like any recipient of a message, could copy it. Choose your groups accordingly.

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our systems. That said, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please protect access to your email account, since it can be used to sign in to Betcha.

10. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to operate the Services. Coin balances reset weekly by design. When you delete your account, we anonymize it as described in Section 8; residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being purged. We may retain limited records longer where required for legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our Terms of Use.

11. Children's Privacy

The Services are for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use Betcha, and the Services are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if we learn that we have, we will delete it. The Services are offered to users in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States (AWS us-east-1). If you access the Services from elsewhere, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you — for example, by email, push notification, or a notice in the App — before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
